Ready to simulate

Enter your saved pulls, pity, guarantees, and targets. Your result will appear here without moving you away from the calculator.

How it works

Three steps from your current state to real odds.

Enter what you have, set your target, and let the Monte Carlo simulator estimate your chance of success.

1

Count your pulls

Enter direct pulls plus any Stellar Jade you plan to convert. The tool turns 160 Jade into one pull and adds it to your total.

2

Describe your pity

Set your current character and Light Cone pity and toggle the guarantee if you lost your last 50/50.

3

Simulate the outcome

Thousands of simulated pull sessions report the percentage that reached your target, so you know whether to pull now or save more.

Mechanics

The banner rules this calculator models.

Understanding the underlying system helps you read your odds and decide when to pull.

What counts as a pull

A pull is a single warp on a banner. The calculator combines your direct pulls with pulls converted from Stellar Jade before running any simulation.

Character first, then Light Cone

Pulls are spent on the character banner until your character target is met, then any remaining pulls go to the Light Cone banner with its own pity and guarantee.

Why more pulls is not linear

Because of soft pity and the 50/50, your odds jump in steps rather than smoothly. Simulating the full sequence captures this better than an average-cost estimate.

FAQ

Answers for pity, guarantees, and odds.

These definitions are written to be useful for both players and search engines. The calculator estimates odds; it does not change or predict the actual random result of any pull.

How many pulls do I need for a 5-star in HSR?

On average a featured 5-star character costs roughly 90 pulls accounting for the 50/50, but it can range from a single lucky pull to about 180 in the worst case. Enter your pity and target to see your specific odds.

What is pity?

Pity is the number of pulls since your last top-rarity result on a banner. A higher pity count can move you closer to soft pity rate increases or hard pity guarantees, depending on the selected game preset.

What does guaranteed limited mean?

Guaranteed limited means your next qualifying top-rarity result is guaranteed by the banner rules to be limited or featured. Use this when you lost the previous limited-rate check and the game now protects your next featured result.

Why can the result change between runs?

Monte Carlo simulation uses random trials, so small changes can appear between runs. Increase the simulation count for a steadier estimate, while remembering that the result is still a probability estimate.

Is Warp Calculator official?

No. Warp Calculator is an independent planning tool and is not affiliated with HoYoverse or any game publisher. Presets are configurable assumptions and should be checked against current in-game banner details.
